About me
Hi I’m Jo, the friendly face behind The Shropshire Pet Companion.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve spent several years working with farm animals, gaining hands- on experience caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments. Since 2019, I have also volunteered at a local dog rescue centre, providing enriching walks for nervous and reactive dogs. These experiences have given me a calm, capable approach and understanding of animal behaviour; I know that every animal is unique and I tailor care to suit personality, energy level and needs.
An owner of a complex rescue Lurcher, Ace, I know that your animal is not ‘just a pet’, they’re family and you can be reassured that I treat every animal in my care with the same kindness and respect I’d give my own.
I am DBS checked, canine first- aid trained and fully insured.
Services
Pet Sitting Services
Includes food and water top up, toilet breaks, clean if required and a fuss
30 minute visit – £10
Overnight stays – £35
(Please note that overnight stays are from 7pm- 7am; any additional walks/visits after this will be charged accordingly)
Dog Walking
Solo dog walks:
30 mins – £12
45 mins – £15
60 mins – £18
(Each additional dog from same household- additional £4)
Pet Taxi
For medical or grooming appointments that you might not be able to make:
£10
(40p per extra mile for trips outside of 5 mile radius)
